I've never tried them, but I've read about Glaser Blue or Silver (the blue being the supposed better of the two with better penetration). If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm sure you'd recognize them if you saw them. The tip of the bullet is a ball projectile which allows for better feeding and penetration. Behind the ball there is shot which spreds. It looks like a decent round and the company makes some pretty big claims:
Exceptional Accuracy High Energy Increased Stopping Power Reduced Recoil Ricochet Minimized Over Penetration Minimized Compressed Core Maximum Fragmentation
Again, never tried them before to verify anything.

I've heard of them (atleast something like them) but never tried them. I'd have to try them extensively before trusting to use them in a defense gun.

Guns don't kill people...bullets fired from guns, moving at supersonic velocities do.
